Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office investigators have obtained a warrant for the arrest of the suspect in the murder of 30-year-old Adolph Arellano. Arellano was shot and killed just after 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, in a parking lot in the 300 block of E. Highline Circle in Centennial (the original call came in as the 400 block). The victim was transported to an area hospital but did not survive.
An arrest warrant for Murder in the First Degree, a class 1 felony, has been obtained for Jacqueline Yvonne Lucero (06/07/1983) in connection with Arellano’s death. Lucero is a white female, about 5’7” tall and 140 pounds. She has brown eyes, and brown hair that was dyed purple at the time of the crime. Lucero and the victim were known to each other and investigators do not believe this was a random crime.
Anyone with information about Lucero’s whereabouts is asked to call 911, or Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). Do not approach Lucero, as she is believed to be armed and dangerous.
