Do you want to have a say in future development of Arapahoe County? The Arapahoe County Planning division has been working on an update to the County’s Comprehensive Plan and is seeking your input on the draft.

The Comprehensive Plan provides a vision for the future and serves as a guide for long term land use development for the unincorporated areas of the county.

The Arapahoe County Planning Commission adopted the current Comprehensive Plan in 2001. A full review of the policies, goals and strategies has been conducted to inform the updated plan. The Comprehensive Plan also is supported by four sub-area plans for Byers, Four Square Mile,  Lowry Range and Strasburg, which have previously been adopted by the Planning Commission. There are no changes currently proposed for the sub-area plans.
