The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man in connection with a homicide that occurred on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 7000 S. Jordan Rd.
Today, investigators arrested 29-year-old Nicholas Locascio for murder in the first degree, based on probable cause, after a two-day investigation. Locascio is being held without bond at the Arapahoe County Detention Facility. Locascio was already in custody on unrelated drug charges after being contacted near Arapahoe Road and S. Parker Road early Wednesday afternoon, following a citizen complaint.
The case began when deputies were called to 7000 S. Jordan road at 10:48 a.m. on March 22, on a report of shots fired. The victim, 32-year-old Justin Doe, was found dead outside of the business at that location. In addition to the deputies and criminalists who initially responded to the scene, a considerable number of investigators worked the case around the clock leading up to the arrest.
No additional information is available, and no interviews with media will be provided, as the investigation on this case is still ongoing.
