The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into a homicide that occurred just before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016 in the 56800 block of E. Railroad Avenue, in Strasburg.
Deputies were called to the area of South Monroe Street and East Railroad Avenue at 8:48 a.m. on a report of a stabbing. First responders found the victim when they arrived, but efforts to save his life were unsuccessful. Deputies contacted several people who were present when the stabbing occurred.
After conducting extensive interviews with several witnesses, investigators arrested 21-year-old Jeremiah Pepper, of Strasburg, on suspicion of Murder in the First Degree. Neither male is believed to be a resident where the crime occurred. Pepper is in the process of being booked at the Arapahoe County Detention Facility. A booking photo is not yet available.
