New community garden is coming to Cheyenne-Arapaho Park

A Community garden is coming to Cheyenne-Arapaho park in Spring 2023! The new garden will have 22 plots, including four wheelchair-accessible plots, for residents to grow their own vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. Community gardens are a wonderful resource for growing local food. They are also a great way to build community and meet your neighbors!

We are looking for:

  • Residents interested in an annual plot
  • Volunteer Garden Leaders to help activate and maintain the garden

Upcoming Community Garden Info Sessions

When:

  • Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, 5-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, 10-11 a.m.

Where:

Cheyenne Arapaho Park - Main Lawn
9200 E Iowa Ave, Denver, CO 80247

What:

  • Preview the community garden design plans
  • Learn how you can get involved
  • Sign up to request a plot
  • Enjoy free snacks and giveaways
