CENTENNIAL -In March of 2022, The Arapahoe County Sheriff'sSheriff's Office received information from the Hanover County Sheriff's Office in Virginia about a juvenile female that had committed suicide. Through the course of their investigation, they discovered she was talking to an individual on several social media messaging apps. Further investigation identified the individual she was talking to as:
PAUL (PABLO) SEVERTSON
AGE 37
It was learned that SEVERTSON lives in Unincorporated Arapahoe County.
Further investigation by ACSO Investigators found that SEVERTSON is a coach for the Girl's Softball team at Cherry Creek High School and the Colorado Styxx girls softball club. PAUL has coached at Heritage High School, Littleton High School, and Chaparral High School from November 2017 through August 2020.
SEVERTSON had three accounts on the social Media Chat app KIK using the names Tyson Richard with the user name TYSONHELP, Reggie Collins with a user name of REGGIEBBC11, and Jordan Styme with the username JSTYME8080. SEVERTSON always passed himself off as 22 to 23 years old and sometimes into fitness. Investigators found that SEVERTSON was attempting to persuade his victim to produce and send nude images and videos of herself, which due to her age, would be considered child sexual abuse material.
On July 20, 2022, Investigators from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit executed a search warrant at SEVERTSON 's home. SEVERTSON was taken into custody, and several items of evidence were seized from SEVERTSON'S house.
