Q2 Conversations with a Commissioner focuses on combatting homelessness
Starting May 5, the Arapahoe County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) will resume holding its Conversations with a Commissioner events in person. These one-hour town halls will provide updates about general County business, and they’ll also feature guest speaker Kathy Smith, Director of Community Resources, who will talk about the County’s multifaceted efforts to address area homelessness concerns.
For the past two-plus years, Covid-related precautions and restrictions have forced us to conduct these events virtually, but the commissioners have been clamoring to meet their constituents face to face once it was safe again. Each town hall will take place in the respective commissioner’s district (see below) from 6:30-7:30 p.m., which includes time for Q&A and open discussion. Refreshments will be provided.
