Arapahoe County Sheriff Traffic Investigators are looking for the driver of a blue Peterbilt dump truck with a blue bed. They believe the driver may have witnessed a serious accident that occurred on I-25. The sheriff’s office released surveillance photos from the RTD bridge over I-25 showing the truck heading southbound after the accident (see attached photos). The crash happened Thursday, April 8, 2021 at approximately 8:19 AM in the southbound lanes of I-25 at E. Dry Creek Rd. The crash involved a car vs. semi-truck which resulted in very serious injuries.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit is currently investigating the crash and is seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed it, including the driver of the blue dump truck.
