Sheriff's Office Launches New Online Public Access Portal

ARAPAHOE COUNTY – Arapahoe County citizens now have an easier, more convenient and less expensive way to access public information and pay fines online. The sheriff’s office has launched a new, updated public access portal on its website, which allows the public to:

  • Access public records
  • Pay traffic citations and fines
  • Pay for concealed handgun permits
  • Pay for civil and court process

Citizens can also check the real-time status of their request. The new portal is more user-friendly and less expensive than the old one. The average service fee for public records is now $2.00 per transaction, compared to the old fee of $8.00. The average service fee for a citation is less than $4.00, compared to the old fee of $8.00. The fee reductions will save the public more than $8,000 in 2021.

Links to the new portal have been added to the sheriff’s office homepage. A direct link can be found HERE.

“We hope this new upgrade in technology will serve our citizens well and allow them easier access to public records. This new and improved system will not only save on cost, but it will save time as well,” says Sheriff Tyler Brown.
