Funds available in 2021 for human services, health, and crisis aid organizations
The Arapahoe County Board of County Commissioners is seeking grant applications from human services, health and wellness, and crisis intervention agencies for its 2021 Aid to Agencies funding.
Grants will be awarded to selected non-profit 501(C)(3) or 501(C) organizations serving Arapahoe County’s at-risk and underserved populations. (Funds cannot be used for religious or political purposes.)
Last year, the Board of County Commissioners allocated more than $1.67 million in Aid to Agencies grants from the County’s General Fund to more than 20 non-profit organizations, including Aurora Mental Health Center, Doctor’s Care, Gateway Domestic Violence Services, TLC Meals on Wheels, and Tri-Valley Senior Citizens Association.
Applications for 2021 grants must be received by 4:30 p.m., June 15, 2020. Interested organizations can download an application and find out more information on the Aid to Agencies web page. Agencies also may call 303-734-5459 to request information and an application packet by email. The Aid to Agencies application consists of a standard form, program narrative, revenue/expense summary and documentation.
The Board of County Commissioners will review all applications during the 2020 County budget process. Funds that are awarded will be available in January 2021. This application is for a one-year period only and applicants must re-apply annually.
