COVID-19 Service Update

Lima Street office open by appointment only. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please call 720-874-6600 to make an appointment and when you arrive so that a staff member can assist you with entrance to the building. 

Use Citizen Access for BuildingEngineering and Planning cases, permits, applications and more. 

Inspections (residential & commercial) have resumed and will be scheduled based on site-specific conditions and the ability for safe social distancing practices to be maintained. It is preferred that occupied homes are vacated with the exception of one individual to shadow the inspector and maintain a six foot distance (masks are encouraged to be worn by the homeowner). Inspectors will wear masks, gloves and other PPE. If the safety of a site or the ability to maintain social distancing is compromised, an inspector may terminate inspection for those reasons and provide additional options.

Revised policies and staff availability during this public health emergency will dictate the limits.

Building goes digital!
The Building Department has transitioned to Citizen Access, an online full-service platform. Citizen Access allows you to submit applications, upload documents, communicate with your case reviewer, schedule inspections and make payments (coming soon).
