These funds will be used to support:

  • Longitudinal testing study, in partnership with University of Colorado Anschutz, of approximately 4,000 first responders across the county.
  • Arapahoe County has partnered with University of Colorado Anschutz on a COVID-19 antibodies study. As part of Phase 2 of the study, free COVID-19 antibody testing will be offered to randomly selected households in Arapahoe County.
  • Community testing in partnership with STRIDE Community Health
    • For symptomatic individuals or those who believe they have been exposed.
    • Also offers antibody testing
    • Holding drive-up testing events. Look for "Community Testing" on their website.
  • A new community-based COVID-19 testing site in Auroraat the 250-acre Aurora Sports Park, 19300 E. Colfax Ave.

    Drive-up testing is available for free to any individual who wants to be tested, especially for those who have symptoms. The site will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week. Pre-registration is recommended to expedite the testing process but is not required.
