Summary of Oil and Gas Rules Outreach
A survey/review of the draft regulations was made available in the Fall of 2020.
The County hosted a virtual public meeting in October 2020 to discuss the draft regulations and next steps in the process. You can view the recording.
In late 2019 small group stakeholder meetings were conducted and in January of 2020, two public workshops occurred. A second survey was conducted in January 2021.
Public hearings for the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners were held in 2021. The regulations were adopted following the public hearings.
