Holiday Toy Drives

For many of us, the holiday season is the most wonderful time of year.  The joys of friends and family keeps us warm during the December chill.

But for some, the holidays aren’t so happy. That’s where the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) steps in to help. ACSO, along with the Fraternal Order of Police Arapahoe Lodge 31, participate in our own toy drive to provide children and seniors with a happier holiday than they might have otherwise.

ACSO also takes part in the Long Blue Line toy drive, organized by the non-profit Cops Fighting Cancer. More than 30 law enforcement agencies collect toys for children spending their holiday season at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Our deputies help deliver presents directly to children and their families.

Each year, ACSO relies on the generosity of the community members of Arapahoe County to bring holiday cheer to those who need it most. Many items are in need, including toys, clothes, small gift cards, and cash/checks (monetary donations to the FOP are tax-deductible).

Please consider making a donation. Together we can make a difference this holiday season right in our own backyard.

Items can be brought to the ACSO headquarters at 13101 E. Broncos Parkway in Centennial, prior to Dec. 14. There is a donation box in the lobby. For monetary donations to the FOP (which will be used toward the toy drive), visit their direct donation link.
