The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Youth Citizens’ Academy gives you an inside look at the sheriff’s office from patrol to detention to investigations to our specialty teams like the Bomb Squad, K-9 and HAZMAT. The five-day academy is free and is usually held in the first few weeks of summer break from school.  

The academy is open to youth 14 to 18 years old and all attendees receive an academy T-shirt and lunch each day.
