Law Enforcement: Law enforcement has been contacted by both Arapahoe County and the State of Colorado, alerting them to the challenges many entities and customers face in renewing temporary tags and registrations that expire during the COVID-19 closure. Law enforcement has been asked to be lenient during this time in issuing these citations. Drivers may continue to use expired registration tabs and/or temporary license plates that have expired while awaiting counties to reopen to the public.
Online Transactions: Many transactions can be completed online at https://mydmv.colorado.gov. Please visit this State Portal website to review online options for vehicle and driver license/ID transactions including Renewals, Duplicate Titles, Changing Addresses, and more!
