Fair Fun for Everyone at Arapahoe County Fair, July 27 - 30

2017 Fair

The 111th Arapahoe County Fair is just around the corner, July 27 - 30 at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora. It’s a summer bargain with pre-sale online admission tickets for only $10 per person. Tickets include unlimited carnival rides, rodeos, and concerts on the main stage, two nights of fireworks, 4-H shows, tractor pulls, petting farm and more.

Each year, you can enjoy returning crowd favorites plus new events and activities. Mutton bustin’ and the high-flying dock dogs return this year along with the petting farm, two nights of fireworks, sled and tractor pulls, 4-H events and exhibits, K9 demonstrations and delicious food. New to the fair is a second rodeo on Sunday, an old fashioned soda truck, a climbing wall, new heritage experiences in the homestead and activities in the kids’ corral.

See rabbits, pigs and poultry in the east wing and horses, cattle, llamas, alpacas, goats and sheep in the livestock pavilion. Shop with more than 40 vendors and enjoy live music by 10 bands on the Main Stage.

Fairgoers 21 and older can purchase tickets for the fourth annual Craft Brew Fest, July 28 for $20 per person and featuring more than 25 local brewers, food and live music. The Craft Brew Fest is held inside, in the new air-conditioned Exhibition Hall.

A summer tradition since 1906, the Arapahoe County Fair is a time to celebrate our heritage. Residents of all counties are invited to enter their handmade and homegrown treasures in the Open Class Competition for a chance to win ribbons and cash prizes. Pre-entry is recommended by June 23 for most Open Class exhibits. Fairgoers also can marvel at and bid on quality market animals that 4-H youth work diligently to raise at the Youth Livestock Auction July 29.

“Save Big with Parker Pig” and buy discounted tickets online now for only $10 per person, or pay $15 at the Fair gate. Parking is $5 per vehicle (cash only). Fair gates open at 4 p.m. July 27 and 11 a.m., July 28 - 30. The Fairgrounds are located at 25690 E. Quincy Ave., Aurora, 2 miles east of E-470 at exit 13.
