CSU-Extension offering free community workshops

LITTLETON, CO --- Green with envy over your neighbor’s lawn? Looking to learn how to can and ferment? Arapahoe County CSU-Extension is offering a series of free extension enlightens workshops throughout the summer on a variety of topics.

Scheduled Extension Enlightens workshops include:

May 9: Lawn and Turf Care

May 16: Growing Tomatoes

May 25: Fermenting Your Own Yogurt

June 1: Making Wine Jelly

June 7: Japanese Beetle Control

July 11: Emerald Ash Bore Control

All workshops will be offered at two convenient times, noon – 12:45 p.m. and 5 – 5:45 p.m. The same content will be presented at each time. Workshops will be held at the Arapahoe County CSU-Extension office, 6934 S. Lima St., Suite B, Centennial, 80112.

Attendees must register online. The first 25 registrants for each workshop will receive a free gift.

Colorado Master Gardener volunteers and horticulture staff also are available to answer questions and assist with insect and plant identification, garden and plant landscape troubleshooting and general information.
