Craft Brew Fest returns to Fair, Home Brew Competition debuts

The Arapahoe County Fair Craft Brew Fest is back for a fifth year and the Home Brew Competition makes a debut.


On July 27, Colorado craft brewers from across the state will bring their best brews to the Arapahoe County Fair to compete for fairgoers favorite beer of the night. Fairgoers will be able to vote on the tastiest brews and the winning breweries will receive a plaque from the Arapahoe County Board of County Commissioners as well as top bragging rights.


38 State Brewing, Blue Spruce Brewing, Copper Kettle Brewing, Great Divide Brewing, HalfPenney Brewing, LaunchPad Brewing, Lost Highway Brewing, Peak to Peak Brewing, Resolute Brewing, Rockyard Brewing, The Brew on Broadway, Two22 Brew, TruBucha will be featured this year.


More than 30 different brews will be featured and fairgoers will have the opportunity to enjoy unlimited tastings of unique and award-winning libations.


The 2018 Craft Brew Fest will be held indoors in the Exhibition Hall 4 – 9 p.m., July 27 and tickets are $20. Tickets are sold separately from general Fair admission tickets and will include a tasting cup for sampling, food and live music. There also will be fireworks Friday night at the Fair.


Home Brew Competition makes it debut at County Fair, Saturday, July 28 Noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 in addition to your fair admission. Meet home brewers, interact and learn from them, and sample a variety of beers during the event. Enjoy a small plate of Jim ‘N Nicks BBQ as well.


All fairgoers are welcome to visit the Exhibition Hall where the brew events will be held but you must be 21 or older to participate in the tasting.
